Bliss the app is to achieve mindfulness which is design for the UI Design challenge by Lemon Yellow LLP. Which is using different methods rather than only music to achieve mindfulness.

Mindfulness is essential for serenity so is its application. Help kill anxiety through your UX knowledge and design. Onboard your users and offer them a soothing experience.

Even though it is just a UI Design Challenge they want us to have some UX Research related to the mindfulness app.

Empathy Mapping

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens. It helps to focus, fight stress improves mental and emotional health, and so on.

Peoples practice it and Psychologists use it as a treatment for many reasons. Peoples practice it mainly for the following reasons-

  • Achieve Focus

  • Reduce Stress

  • Improve Physical and Mental Health

  • Strengthen Relationships

  • They miss the point of mindfulness.

  • They are not free.

  • Pre Recorded meditations.

  • Can not be customized.

  • Only music not always help to achieve mindfulness.

Saanvi is a very outgoing and friendly girl and even if she hangs out with a lot of friends she keeps to herself and does not share much of her pressure. Due to the hectic work schedule, it is hard for her to balance work and life and it starts affecting her health and sleep pattern.

Goals-

Planning for daily meditation so that she can achieve mindfulness and Wants to improve her mental, physical health, and sleeping patterns.

  • Also, it gives details about methods they are using, How many sessions they did, and How many days they practice the method.

  • Users can select goals for getting mindfulness so that they can personalize the app according to need.

  • It also helps the app to select the best methods of mindfulness for each user.

  • Also, I have added different methods which are more useful than music.

  • Added yoga's which are simple to do and very effective based on research.

Summery

  • This project was challenging but it gave me the chance to gain more knowledge of UI and UX and also I learned about mindfulness which is very important for life. And we need to have balance in every aspect of life and tried to have it in the Bliss app also.

  • In these tough times when we have greater pressure and depression, I found that mindfulness is important to learn and practice. And this type of app will surely make some difference and maybe protect peoples from negative thoughts. I hope everyone will get Bliss in life with the help of mindfulness.
